RICHMOND, VA – On Saturday, Rally Virginia hosted a dynamic, high-energy leadership summit at the Grand Ballroom of The Jefferson Hotel, bringing together more than 250 women from across Virginia for an interactive, audience-driven policy event.
Delegations traveled from counties including Albemarle, Loudoun, Fairfax, Gloucester, Lancaster, Stafford, and York—demonstrating the growing reach and influence of Rally Virginia across the Commonwealth.
The summit was led by Rally Virginia founder Rooz Dadaboy, who set the tone with a call to action emphasizing leadership, engagement, and impact.
“Rally Virginia women don’t complain about politics – we shape politics,” said Rooz.
Unlike traditional political events, the summit featured a fast-paced, interactive format. Policy experts and elected officials – including Sen. Tara Durant, Sen. Ryan McDougle, Del. Anne Ferrell Tata, Del. Hillary Pugh Kent, U.S. Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce Coke Stewart, and members of the administration of Glenn Youngkin – presented rapid analyses of 12 key legislative bills.
Each presentation was followed by live audience engagement, with participants asking questions and challenging policy implications in real time.
A central highlight of the summit was Rally Virginia’s launch and expansion of Rally Radar, Virginia’s legislative watchdog, designed to keep members informed and mobilized.
Through Rally Radar, Rally Virginia distributes daily policy reports to more than 98,000 women statewide. Since its launch in December, the organization has circulated over five million Rally Reports, analyzing legislation that impacts affordability and government overreach.
Said Rooz, “Our policy team works hard to deliver accurate, up-to-date information to keep our Rally ladies, and people across Virginia informed and empowered to speak out. Thanks to Rally Radar, when a bad bill enters our space, we are ready to act.”
The Summit reinforced Rally Virginia’s mission to educate, engage, and empower women to play a leading role in shaping public policy across Virginia.
